Default Those with TCi deep pan

My TCi deep pan for my Th400 came in, and I haven't installed a trans pan before. I know that its a easy install, but want to make sure on one thing. With it came some type of spacer, and a bolt that isn't like the bolts that will hold the pan into place. It says to place that spacer between the filter and the valve body, but I have no idea how that would work. Maybe it would make sense once I drop the stock pan, but I thought it would help me to ask here before hand. thanks

i have the tci pan for 4l60e and the spacer is just like an extension so the filter will sit in the bottom of the pan...as it is like 2" deeper than the stock one. one question for you with no relevance to your tranny pan: how does the g5x4 act with your 3800 stall? i have a 4k stall and 373 gears (as well) and i was wondering if 4k was enough stall or not for that cam, as i am very interested in it.

I actually regret getting a 3800 stall with this cam. A 4500-5000 stall would be perfect. I will be going with a 4500 or a 4600 in a couple of months.
I think having more compression would help. Louis at LG told me this cam would work best with a 57cc head and a .40 head gasket, giving you compression around 11.8:1 or so.
