My current plans are, I'll keep my Z28 until either:
- I die
- Gas is no longer produced
It's not my daily driver. It's just a perfect weather only weekend cruiser that sees no more than about 1000-1500 miles per year of summer driving since it was brand new. So yeah, it should last basically forever.

I'll keep mine for ever. after im out of college and get on my feet. I plan on having a small house, with a garage, parking the car in there, and doing a LOT to it, full ls1 conversion. I want to get some experiance. I know that it wont be worth it $$$ wise, but it will be fun for me and my friends, or me and my dad to kick back, have a few beers and work on it. But what will I drive during that time? c6 zo6, duh! by then they should be in the ball park of what I can afford with the job i hope to get.

I think it's cool to see a fast car that someone has kept for a long time. It's like they build a relationship with the car instead of trading in for the newest thing on the block. I guess you get to see who really liked the cars, and who bought them for the newness.

I plan on keeping mine until there is no premium fuel to run it on (even at 25.00 a gallon!! ). Of course I will keep it after that, but I just won't be able to drive it.

So you guys think even if I can't get a ls1 til 2006, I can still find a decent one that will run for a long time? Like even one with over 70k miles? What parts would be the weakest links with it then? I know that the engine would be the least of my worries.

Till it stops suiting me I really love her and will have her for atleast 4 more years *planned* but if I can afford to/want to keep her longer I will do.
I dont really plan on modding heavy till next year or later I just enjoy her so much.
