Default Any update on HPT2.0 USB cable and ford compatibility?

Been waiting forever, was hoping this would have come out already. Anyone hear of a new release date now?

Any details on what the offering will be now in terms of GM and Ford, like can my second choice be a ford with my WS6?

keith told me it was not far away from being sold on teh website...
all the fords stuff is being integrated into the software and is almost complete as my understanding is..
its going to happen pretty soon...I was told a rough estimate on timeframe..but I'm not saying what they told me so as to not get anybodys hopes up just in case something goes wrong...
but its basically ready...

they couldve come out with it 6 months ago your correct but it wouldnt have had the protocals for ford/chrysler...they decided to make it compatible & do it right the first time then to rush it out and have to produce all new hardware now & set back their time frames even further.

Man...everyone always gets in a big damn hurry...I'm content to wait. I know these things take time. QC is huge in the software business...

We would have had this product out quite a while back but we decided to add the ford and dodge support as well to the interface and software.

Our scan tool will still function just as it did before.. so you will then have the ability to scan any gm/ford/dodge vehicle that we support... at no additional cost.

I was told before Thanksgiving... Gee I guess they blew that date as well. This is getting rediculus. I had my heart set on USB HPT2.0 but, I'm considering buying EFILive, since everyone says you can't go wrong with either one.

What can HP tuners bring to the Ford market that will put their product more on the cutting edge than what is already available?

how about the ability to tune multiple vehicles for 1 price instead of having to purchase vehicle liscenses...
how about the user configureable EIO which allows you to interface with almost any external device having a 0v-5v output..and has an output option as well to trigger other devices

I dont know any details about the SCT datalogger...raptor I think...but HPT has a hell of a logging interface that is user configureable

My friends with TwEECer for their Mustangs were always jealous of HPT's scanner as well as its layout of tuning tables, etc.

Last I read, EFI Live's LS2 support won't be out until early '06.
