Default any Luke A.F.B guys here

I'm looking in putting for MTL in the future and I'm considering Luke as a base to go. I'm from Vegas so I wouldn't be to far from home for once. How is the base? Also whats the average house go for out there, although the housing on base looks pretty nice (in pictures) I just would rather live off base.

Im at Luke.. I love the phoenix area.. Its not vegas by any means, but there is still alot to do. There is every type of major sports here. Nascar comes here twice a year, and the car seen here is pretty big. Houses here are pretty exspensive compared to what they use to be. My house is 1,500 sqft. I paid 108, for it two years ago and now my house would sell for 250,. if that gives you any idea of what they go for here.. I would think vegas would be about the same. Base housing here is pretty nice though.

thanks for the info bro...yeah I'd rather be there than Veagas anyway. I was born and raised there and I really don't care much for the downtown seen anymore...visiting is fun but if I lived there I gamble to much. Thats freakin crazy about the housing cost, pretty much the same thing as Vegas....prices have sky rocketed, I would love to got there just hope I could afford it. Mortgage should only go up a few more hundred a month and my BAH will go up anyway so I think we could be okay...well see.

The golf course at Luke is a great course. I play there every January. Nothing greater than teeing off and hearing jets fly over head. It never gets old.
