Royal Purple..? or Mobil 1

Default Royal Purple..? or Mobil 1

just a quick question. I have always use Mobile 1 on my ls1 should i change to royal Purple or stick to mobile 1?

its really up to you. I made the switch to RP last oil change. But doing the oil, I also did the tranny (M6) and the rear diff.

No problems at this time.

They are both good. I use RP because its readily available where I am.

I'm sticking with mobil....I mean, they make gas caps which recommend it....it has to be legit...j/k

isnt there like a 8 hp gain or so from using rp??? i was watching hp tv last wkend and heard something to that effect... icould be wrong i wasnt quite awake yet. btw i use mobil 1

probably NOT!

hp tv ads cost $50000 per horsepower the company wants you to say it adds.

If you already use mobil 1 just stick with it. No real difference. I tried it a couple times, but I just went back to mobil 1. Make sure its fully synthetic and use 5w30 crazy ***.

Compair the 2 using the same weight oil.... Which one feels and looks thicker to you?

I do Mobil 1 all the way...but thats just me...
