Default True Duals Kick ***!

Just got finished installing my TSP True Duals. Man they kick *** the sound is so deep and they went together perfectly. Heres what I did:
1. sanded down and cleaned up the welds and the pipes
2. painted them black with hi temp paint
3. flipped the fuel lines tilted the bullets at 45* outward
4. put rubber bushings on the hangers
5. messed around with the fit
-result: great ground clearance, awesome sound
only problem is the interior rattles like hell, but maby when i put the seats back in it wont be so bad

THANK YOU TEXAS SPEED

somebody anybody answer this question. a lot of people say when you do a header swap, do it right the first time and go with stainless steel. which is kooks or qtp. why do they say this? how long will headers like pacesetters last?
thanks

Those pacesetter headers will outlast your car. The painted ones will rust quick but its not like they are gonna rust through. I have run much thinner headers on an old 3rg gen forever rusted and they never failed. Now if you get the coated ones the bottoms of them will probably get some light surface rust on them dude to getting wet but up in the engine bay they should stay looking nice for a long time, atleast mine have.

All you have to do is unbolt them and go end-over end and line the hole back up and bolt them back in. They twist, and required a little encouragement but they added another 1/2 to 1 inch ground clearance.

I love mine too. I get compliments all time, even from Mustang guys who know they could never make their flowmastered 4.6 2V or 4V sound as good as our cars with true duals.

Did your TSP duals have bullets or spiral flow mufflers? Thanks

i've never heard somebody say that. Pacesetters will definatly outlast your engine..so when its getting rebuilt..and you want to waste some money..you can get a set of stainless then.

I too have the True Duals "Lanes"... along with the Pacesetters..

They were great @ first " have them dumped" but for daily driving it get's a bit much after awhile "For me"...

I will be getting mine ran out the back this week...

Should still sound awesome...

IMO True duals are the only way to go for sound & perf....

PewterY2K who are you gonna have run them out the back for you. Do you have the 3in duals or 2 1/2 I have the 3in and would like them ran out the back also. I just don't trust the local people here to do it.
