Default Harlan 2step installed on m6

finally got my *** to install it today.purdy easy using a push button on/off for now.tested it at 2k rpm(dont want my neighbors to be **** at me.)yup hes 2steppin alright.start playin with it at the track tomorrow night.have 1 ? though.this is on a 98m6.if I want to activate via clutch pedal do I tap in on the clutch pedal position switch? anybody or Harlan.would appreciate it very much.thanks. great product and a big thumbs up to Matthew Harlan.

Had mine for a while works great. I usually set mine for 5K+ w/slicks at the track.
It should work of the clutch switch if you wired it correctly.
When I use mine , depress clutch, push momentary switch & go full throttle, then it comes off w/ the clutch pedal released.

thanks wrencher.only 2 wires going to the clutch pedal position switch.will try either one to tap in and test unless someone knows the exact one to splice to.thanks again.anyone else knows.

I just wired it to the PCM. It is terminal 32 on the blue connector that is the clutch switch input.
Search here for a PCM pin out. Either that or search for harlan 2 step wiring/install.

been there done that.only on 99 and aboveto terminal 32 on the blue connector.I have 98 kind of different from the rest of the year according to harlan.tried looking on the helms manual but no luck.might try going down to the dealer and ask technician where clutch switch input on a 98 m6 car.thanks again.

just fire up the old DMM, have a buddy sit in the driver's seat pushing the clutch pedal, and probe the pins on your PCM until you find the right one. Shouldn't take too long.

This may help but youy may have to wire it from the switch, I dont see a clutch switch input in the pin out.

maybe for now just on the momentary on/off switch.will try tap in on that 2 wire clutch pedal position switch underneath the console by the clutch pedal.also will try to ask dealer/technician locally where clutch input for this year is located.thanks again wrencher for the help.

damm guess your out of luck if his not making them no more.your best bet would be the classified ad/for sale section keep an eye for someone selling thiers.

sup Donnie.where youve been hiding?long time no hear from you.I know I gotta break it out this weekend and start probing those wires underneath the dash by the clutch pedal.

Hope you get this worked out. I am conteplating getting a two step to go along with a new set up.

get it hooked up to the pedal make it alot easier. got to love a studder box at the line!!!!!!!!!!

no worries I will.ya this bugga is awesome.you gotta get one .use to do that-travel the world.Im retired now since 02.livin the life in paradise and enjoying these cars.good luck man.
