Military Hotrod Club - Sweet hookups?

I wanna know if anybody knows what discounts we get being military?
Seems like free dinner from Golden Corral is the only thing I have noticed.

I know hotels give you good discounts.

Also call you cell phone company..They give current and former government employees discounts.;)

Well ask far as Cingular goes, everybody I have gone to said they don't give a discount. AT&T gave a fat discount 8% on monthly bills and 50% off phones and when I was going to upgrade my phone from my current P.O.S. (MPx220) they said we don't give military discount, try a corp store. So I am not going to reup with them. Dish net and Direct T.V. don't give em. Grande communication, verizon dsl, the list goes on and on

Some Sponsors will give a Military Discount... just call and ask....

I believe Hooters has some deal if you have a military ID.

In Tampa, there's a resturant/pub chain called Beef O' Bradys; If you show up in uniform, 50% off the bill.

I was trying to compile a running list of the LS1tech sponsors that offer military discounts. :)

Naw man, many times you get a jacked up price. They know how much you get for TDY and charge the max based off that (that's for Hotels around Mil post/bases). At least that's my experience. That pisses me off. I've learned to not mention Mil "discount" around mil instillations!!

while i was in, we got free admission to sea world in san diego. this was right after 9/11 though. i think it was a special one time deal.
