Default interior project complete

i just completed my interior project, it took about 4 days. i spent alot of time sanding to make them turn out this nice. you cant even really see the depth in the pics. i used a sharpe paint gun and automotive paint matched from my car. the paint is base coat/ clear coat. heres the steps i took....

-sand 200
-sand 400
-spray adhesion promoter
-spray 3 coats of primer (any primer will work)
-sand 600
-sand 800
-wetsand 800
-scuff that up with 1000
-spray 3-4 basecoats
-wetsand base w/ 800
-spray 1 more coat of base
-3-4 coats of clear
-polish/wax (no wetsanding was needed)

heres a crappy pic of everything installed

My opinion only, ..., Yuck, ...
Just makes'em stand out even more, now the interior just does not blend together.
But, to each their own.
The paint does look good from here, ..., I just can't stand painted interiors.

(I know, Momma always told me, 'If you can't say anything nice, then stay the hell out of the kitchen", ..., Or something like that, ...)

I'm not big on painted interiors either but I have to say you did a quality job on the paint. It really shows you took your time and your steps are dead on.
I will also say congrats on doing what YOU like and not worrying whether other people will like it. Oh, one more thing, paint the ashtray lid too so it will blend in with the console and not stick out like a sore thumb.

i like it but you need more to help it flow evenly perhaps some embroidered floor matts silver guages (do they make those for camaro's) if you want some ideas you can look at mine but some people dont like mine either. great paint work though.

Paint looks good man. I think the ash tray cover needs to be painted. But that might be the way the pic looks.

Looks good, I like the accents. The quality of your paint work is very good, too.

Since you already decided to go the silver route, then maybe you could do the dash cluster bezel in silver also to tie it all together.

I personally like painted interiors when its done right and not overdone. I say paint the ash try cover and find your self some emboridered floor mats with some silver in it say around the outside and when you get the time/extra money get the seats done also with something custom that way everything matches and flows really well but nice job.

Hey it looks just like mine! But I bought it that way--and I don't dislike it enough to change it. (The quality of your is better, though!)

if i start doin this kinda stuff on the side to make some $, what would be a reasonable price to charge...a price people wouldn't turn down but at the same time it'd make m some desent $? in my project, i've put $80 worth of supplies into it (adhesion promotor, primer, paint, clear, hardener, all the sandpaper). what are some ballpark figures for doin the radio bezel, gauge bezel, both side vent bezels, door bezels, and also the center consol plastic piece for a total of 7 pieces. or should i just put a price on each part someone would want paint?
