Thumbs up New best last night at Atco

All five passes were in the 11s (had only hit 11s once before back in May) with all new best sixty foots, 1/8th miles/MPH and an improved trap speed as well. No other changes to the car, still bolt ons only with stock 3.23 rear on DRs.
11.86@113.62 on a 1.59 sixty foot...backed it up with an 11.89 on a 1.58 sixty on my last pass too.
After almost 6 years of ownership I still LOVE this car.

I was at Atco Raceway on 11/26/05 and I could almost say that I had the same improvements with my car. I gained something like 2 tenths and 2 MPH since 11/5/05 with no new modifications and the same crappy 60' times! Does Atco program their time-keeping system differently on test and tune days?

The same with me, I ran my old best at Atco which was a 13.2 @ 106 with a 2.0 60' The other 2 tracks in jersey with the same 60' ran a 13.4 @ 104-105. I can only imagine what I'd run there now.

Nice going LS1LT1.

Air or no air, the car still did it.

I wish I had run my car that night.
I would have seen 10's NA.

Congratulations on your new best.

Nah that just can't be, they'd get in big trouble with the NHRA/IHRA for that I would think, we just hit it on a good air/traction night. Some people were spinning but those of us that know what we're doing did just fine. The next day was even better I heard.
I was questioning the validity of my one 1.58 (and it was a 1.581 not a 1.589 too LOL) sixty foot when my other 1.5s were higher 1.593s - 1.595s but the car was launching hard and the slip says it so it is very likely accurate....I had to be pulling at least one wheel on that one.

Wait, isn't mineshaft air all full of soot and dust. That would clog up the air filter wouldn't it?
