puting it in the a/c vent above the radio

raptor in the center A/C vent ... sorry no pics. I love it b/c no one knows its there until it lights up. I like a stock looking interior ... so I didn't want the light to be readily visible.

what 12v source should i use on my 98 z28 its a m6
its all installed and i used the fuse for the gauges but when i arm the alarm the alarm goes off. what other 12v can i use?
