Default What parts to buy ??

Hi guys,

Working on a project and need your help please. The car is a 98 camaro, still have a long way to go but slowly and surely will get there.

So far,
Engine: 434 solid roller 13.8 compression
Trans: Built TH400
Rearend: Ford 9"

Now I need help with suspension and chassis parts please. Best setups for drag racing, the car is gonna be for drag racing and some street action.

Brakes? Suspension? Chassis? Wheels? Tires?

Sorry for all the questions, but really need your help Thanks

depending on how crazy u'd like to take the setup it will difer- i'd say optimal for drag racing would be QA1 double adjustables up front w/ drag spring, QA1's out back, sfc's, a chassis mounted torque arm, def get relocation brackets and adj. rear control arms (will allow you center rear w/ big tires).

up front use a tubular k member, and lower a-arms, - the uppers there isnt much wieght loss w/ them compared to stock

as far as brakes- strange and aerospace make some really nice components.

tires/wheels- well get a 15" lightweight drag wheel, somehting like a weld prostar or boggarts, whichever. tires will vary depending on what gear and how u'r gunna be driving the car.

etc.. good luck. dont be affraid to search- it is extremely helpful.

there are many sponsors that deal w/ wheel and tires

for suspension check out UMI performance, or BMR, billengsley carries alot of drag race stuff, as well as the brake kits.

wheels - click on the SJM mfg - link thats the best on the market.. imho.
