Weight of 98 V6 camaro??

Anyone know if the v6 camaros are lighter cars??

98 camaro v6 t-tops, manual windows, power locks.

4l60e... anyone know the weight.....

im looking to gut it down all the way if its lighter than my 2000 Z....

any help is appreciated

Its the exact same car as the LS1 F-bodies minus the power train.

ok.. thats what i thought.. the v6 probably weighs the same as an LS1.......

When I pulled the v6 and the a/c, and put in an LS1, the front of the car sat higher than it did with the v6.... So yeah, they're pretty darn close.
