Default P1153 Code after Trans and converter install

P1153 Code after return to Stock TQ converter
I was recently running a Vig 3200 in my original trans with 60,000 miles. After the 3/4 clutches went south I purchased a mild rebuild from one of the reputable shops in Chicagoland (also a sponsor here) and had them install it along with a stock torque converter. After the install it set the P1153 (Bank 2 Fuel control shifted lean) OBD code right away. The tuner at the shop said the fuel trims are off causing the lean condition. The original VIG converter was installed by the other reputable shop in Chicagoland(also a sponsor)and I had their "basic tune"done at that time. The shop now says I need a dyno tune ($400) to get things set up correctly. Does this sound right or is there something else going on with this code? Exhaust leak? Loose sensor? Car is stock except for lid and Cat Back.
