Default mounting plates on 9" rear end

I purchased a Ford 9" rear end, that was previously on a 92 Camaro..... I was going to swap out the rear ends when i noticed that the bracket that the caliper mounts on to was on the opposite side on the 9"..... Would i have to take off the plate off my original rear and place it on the 9"????? THX guys

Yep, backing plates are different on the two set ups, you will have to have to either have the bearings removed and then pressed back on with your new backing plates installed or have the bearings cut off and have new bearings pressed on with your new backing plates installed.
