Default potentially found my lt1 ;)

hey guys, i think i just found a pretty sweet deal. im gonna be test driving her hopefully by the end of the week. anyway, let me know what you guys think.

Details

1997 Firebird WS-6. Leather, T-tops, a/c, 130k miles, auto, ram air... etc.

its going for about $7500 at a dealer. so i imagine i can widdle that price down a bit. i told myself i wouldnt get another auto f-body, but this deal seems to good, and im tired of waiting for my 4th gen.

let me know what you guys think! thanks!

looks good, but I'd try to get it at a better price. You can get an LS1 for about that.

Auto Vs Manual is really a opinion thing unless your racing.. then its
Drag = Auto
Auto Cross = Manual
Or...
From a Dig = Auto
From a Roll = Manual

Man, black LT1 WS6s are cool, but for over $7,000?! I bought my '94 Z28 with less than 100,000 for $5,000 two years ago!

Hell, I bought this white/white leather '99 Z28 M6 Sport with less than 90,000 for $9k!

Look on here, look on eBay. LT1s are a load of fun on the street, but LS1 cars are just as cheap now. Look long enough and you'll find a LS1 that you like for that price, or one that's not as cool of a color combo for even less money. If you look hard enough, I'd bet you could get a black/black '98 or '99 WS6 for under $10.

Don't do it.

Wait, did you think it was an LS1?! Man, that's a LT1.

If it were one year newer, I'd say it was an okay deal.

yup i know its an lt1, i dunno, this car just caught my eye. and like i said being that its a dealer im sure that price is structured to be brought down. ive been searching for a 4th gen for a while now... and to find a ws6 at this price, at least around here, its a pretty cool deal. the closest thing is a 98 for like 10grand. im not really gonna race, i would prefer a stick. but i can always trade this firebird for someone who wants an auto

Thats a nice looking car, but the price should be lower considering the mileage.
