Default Look at these HPTuner graphs...seeing knock....normal?!?

Look at these two graphs. This is saved data from when I was doing some WOT tuning on the street. Is knock at these conditions normal? Or is knock bad in general?!? The first attachment is Kr 1.8....the second attachment is Kr 9.0. You might have to save the picture to desktop and then zoom. I had to reduce the size and quality of the picture in order to attach it.
Any help is appreciated. I am trying to make sense of all this data.

Thanks!
Andy

whats your spark timing just prior to that point.
Often if you are starting with a stock tune you might need to look at the knock sensor values. Compare yours to an 02 camaro etc.
I was getting KR at like 10% TP and low map in random places. Changed knock values and now all is well. Goes like a banshee.

I am assuming by "spark timing" you mean "timing" as in what is listed on the same section of the graph?

If so, here are the reading leading up to and following the peak Kr of 9.0:
Advance: 24 degrees @ TPS: 20%......Kr 0.0
Advance: 18 degrees @ TPS: 18%......Kr 0.0
Advance: 11 degrees @ TPS: 9%.......Kr 9.0
Advance: 15.5 degrees @ TPS: 9%.....Kr 8.8
Advance: 17 degrees @ TPS: 9%.......Kr 8.7

Are these the values you were looking for?
If not let me know and I will try and locate them.

Thanks
Andy

For timing (advance) you should look at your high and low octane tables in the timing menu. You need to look at rpm and g/cyl. Look at your chart settings and add the dyncylair pid (I think that's the right one), its units should be g/cyl. It doesn't look like you have excessive advance prior to the kr events though. It does look like your ve table is lean giving you +ltrims. This probably isn't helping your kr at tip in. I would try and fix the ve table first to run a little rich and see if that helps.

The first one, looks like no good reason but the
second obviously is tracking MAP peaks. This
could be from too much timing for the cylinder
charge, but you are also "fluttering" the throttle
(very irregular TPS), the MAP follows, unsteady
MAP means speed density mode and maybe you
just need to fatten up the VE table some. In both
of the "9" cases you are showing dead lean
immediately before the knock event, despite a
relatively high MAP. You may want PE in earlier
(or less timing until PE rolls on). Try to understand
how Dynamic Cylinder Air corresponds to MAP for
your car and either peel back some spark at mid-
MAP levels (below where PE is enabled) or bring
PE in earlier or ensure at least that the VE is fat
enough to give you better than 0.5V on tip-in
(throttle flutter being repetitive tip-in and close).
Given that you have a fair set of airflow mods I
would point the finger at the VE table first. You
likely are under-representing the true air pump
as modded, if you are still using stock VE tables.
