If your car is stock, I'd look into an LS6 or LS7 clutch rather than a beefy aftermarket one.

i thought the textralia could be a dd clutch w/o a problem?
after this trans rebuild and clutch swap, im looking in to a 12 bolt. some DR's 100 shot and bolt on's

this trans rebuild is needed bad, and its gonna be beefed up. why not do the clutch at the same time?

I had both, and find the Textralia to be much more DD friendly. I mean, you can slip the thing almost as good as a stocker. But it grabs very strong when you need it. The Spec 3 was definitely a bit of a bear to try to slip when driving in traffic.

Textralia is a beefy clutch with a stock feel...i can drive my car anywhere and be stuck in rush hour traffic with no effects. my spec was a bear to drive in traffic.
if your stock you can get a ls6 or ls7 clutch and be good but if you go with a Textralia it will allow room for mods in the future...in stock form i dont think you'll ever hurt it.
its worth the money...goodluck.

Textralia is a good clutch, but there is no need in buying a $1000 clutch when your car stock. A new OEM LS6 or LS7 clutch is a great DD clutch and will leave lots of room for possible modding.

I don't see how not having enough gear or hp will make the clutch wear faster? that makes no sense..unless they are slipping it way to much, but having less power isn't gonna kill the clutch faster.

Having a 3.73 gear vs a 3.42 will decrease wear on the clutch holding all else the same due to better engagement from stops at lower RPMs.

Yeah man, you will be fine with the Textralia clutch. Some people are morons.
