Default granatelli MAF????

I was curious as to whether or not this is a granatelli MAF, I know it is the housing for one, however I dont know if it is the sensor or not

on top of the sensor it reads 99112 898 8

can someone confirm what this is?

I wish it where true that the sexier looking the part is, the more power it made, But that is only true when we are talking superchargers and turbos..

Even though it looks better than stock and may flow more air, you will have problems with them as they are stock sensors but missing the important screen on them to direct flow more evenly over the sensors that read the air.
And it is pretty rare that a guy maxes out one of those stock sensors with minor mods.. Even then, i would use a STOCK 85mm truck sensor and put in the correct "KNOWN" gm calibration tables into the file and you would be all set.

The best MAF is a stock one, with ported ends, and proper tuning.
