hey guys i have been doing some searching for the past couple of days and i have literally seen probobly 25 different possibilities for fluids to use. i think that i have decided on royal purple diff fluid but i am unsure on what weight to use and where royal purple is available. also i am still going to use the GM additive, correct?

I thought GM switched to Synthetic differential oil in '98....no additive needed?
