I know this isn't a f-body, but I know quite a few of you on here from my previous vehicle (99 WS6 370rwhp). I installed my mods late last week and was using the predator pulley tune but wanted to make sure I was making relatively safe power. Sooo, I called Rick up at Amazon and he sent me a E-Mail tune and I installed it and drove around I little. Noticed the car just ran so darn smooth with his tune so I headed up to USA's dynojet.
I drove approx 50 miles to the dyno and the car cooled about 15-20 minutes. IAT2 Temps were at 145 deg which is hot for a blown car. I think I could have squeezed some for hp/tq if they would have been at the normal 89-95 degrees. I made 2 pulls, and here's the results....
1st pull
470.2RWHP and 488.3RWTQ - AF was around 12.5 from 2500rpm to about 4000RPM then was pretty flat from 4000RPM to 6500rpm which was 11.5
2nd pull
Same exact curve 465.8RWHP and 489RWTQ - AF the same
I was pleased with the results and the car pulls like a mutha! :drive:
I will post Dyno graphs but don't know how to host them. Anyone?

A friend of mine has the same #'s with his cobra. He has a Bassani Headers back exhaust, Steeda CAI, Smaller pully, and an aftermarket Intercooler, Predator tune. Pulls 465rwhp 496 rwtq. Also has QA1 shocks, Nitto 555r's, & a short throw shifter. Nice car.

Thanks man. Cobra's pretty much are in the same ballpark. I love the sound of my old cammed ws6, thats the crappy thing about 4.6's. No cam sound

Man, I wish I had my camera with me. Next time I go, I will. I do have a couple of dyno graphs. Crazy thing is, It was making 488rwtq at 3500rpm.

I am no expert in tuning but that still seems a little lean for FI car. Great numbers though.

Looks to me like the AF should be a bit more steady. Nice graph though, lot of area under the curve.

numbers are in standard, can you get some in SAE? numbers will most likely drop a little depending on the dyno weather.

Not sure. Wish I had some cool down before the dyno pull.

Nice numbers! Ran a guy with the same setup but about 20 less HP. He was trapping in the 119-120 range in the quarter.

Gotta love those 03/04 Cobras. The sound those cars generate at WOT is unreal :)

I thought hp and tq are suppose to cross each other on the dyno at 5250rpm?

it does...the hp/tq axis's are marked differently in this case though so it looks a little weird.

I plan on running it in the 1/4 as soon as possible. I might switch to a solid rear end though.

Thanks man. Thats sweet, I've cruised through burleson a few times. Me and a guy named Chris (Silver GTS Viper) play around on the 35 every once in a while. We might have to take it to the street if we cross each other. :drive:
