Default i have a question about heads. help

I'm looking at a 402 with all pro heads. I found a set of 317 heads with 918 springs for real cheap. Could i just pull the all pro heads off and slap the 317's on or is there more to it than that? I'm sure the all pro heads are great, but, if i can sell them and if the 317 will do the job, why not? I'm told the all pro's are like $3000. Would the 317's be good enough for that engine and a whipple supercharger?

i'm pretty sure whipple can only make 600rwhp no matter what heads are on it. so, yeah, my goals are "small".

I would agree with your idea. The whipple could turn slower to make the same boost # with the smaller heads.

Then again I may be wrong
