We would like to let all LS1Tech.com members know that starting today we will be offering Mikronite Surface Finishing to all of our rebuilds. We are now offer bronze fork pads for all shift forks as well. The Mikronite Finishing is $20 per gear and $20 per Slider. There is no charge for shipping and is now going to be included on our website. The Mikronite Finishing extends transmission life by more than double since it limites wear and is used by the Pratt-Miller team in there CTS-V Road race car. In testing normal wear parts showed less signs of fatigue when using the Mikronite Finishing versus no finishing at all. On normal parts without the Mikronite Finishing, the Pratt-Miller team was only able to go 300 miles between rebuilds. On normal parts with the Mikronite Finishing, the Pratt-Miller team was able to go more than 1000 miles between rebuilds. I will post a link to my website as well as Mikronites for those who wish to recieve more information.

The bronze fork pads will be $15.00 per pad and you require 2 pads per fork. These will not wear out like the plastic ones and extend the life of the transmission by double. The bronze pads will keep you from having those hard shifts after several months of abuse.
