LED turn signals in side mirrors
I posted this in Stereo & Elec too, but it was also an appearance thing so I thought I would post it here as well. Mods if I am in the wrong by doing so lemme know and I'll delete it.
Took me a bit to get the wire routed, had to take the door apart and some stuff under the dash. Ended up using 5 5000mcd orangish-yellow LEDs I had sitting around.

Sorry I had to putfile it, my FTP is broken to my webserver right now.
I didn't do that great on this one, but I know what I did wrong and it will be better on every one afterward. I think it came out pretty great though

I think it would look better arched to match the edge of the mirror. Is it too difficult to fit them in there on the edge? Did you just scrape off the mirror backing and put the LED's in there?

The Shop is pretty clean from anything that could hurt your feet, and she only really walked from the door to the chair so her feet weren't in grave danger. Still got pretty dirty though

As for the silvering, it's actually on the FRONT of our mirrors. I tried a razor but it wouldn't come off, ended up going with the dremel+abrasive bit+really steady hand to make 5 little circles
