Default 15x7 third gen wheels with 195 tires... on the front of a 4th gen

am i getting desperate or what lol! i finally got the trans back in the car, tho its not yet running, i go to dyno tune a week from tommorow, and then ive got a lil grudge match set 4 days after that lol...

should weigh 3250 raceweight...

minus all carpet
rear seatbelts..
and something else 3200

and now since im running outta things i have time to pull im going to go pull the 15x7's with 195's off the 85 project car, and see if they will work on the front... highly doubtful.. and who knows if its even lighter.. but before i go stripping down my dads project car....

figured id run that buy some of ya'll lol.. may sound stupid to try.. but this is a one time deal.. and this other guy weighs 3000lbs

I'm pretty sure that 15s won't clear the brakes at all. Weld skinnies need grinding, and their backspacing is only 1 3/4 or something like that, a 7" wheel with 4-5" of BS most likely won't fit IMO.

On my 2000 I put 15x7 z28 wheels from my old 87. They worked on the back just fine, but slightly rubbed on the front. I dont remember where they were rubbing at but it might work with some grinding.

Actually it is 3052 (w/235ish Driver) right now but we could be pulling more weight for this grudge race.
