Difference in C5 and F-bod windage tray?? interchangable? TSIA
I REALLY need to know if the windage tray from a C5/GTO can be used in an LS1 with an F-body pan, pickup, etc.... This is, at the moment, the only thing holding up my car in a shop. Any input would be appreciated, I'm having a very hard time finding an F-bod windage tray. I have had thread after thread in the WTB section for the last 2 months.
Anyway, out of desperation I bought/buying a windage tray from a C5 LS1. What exactly is different? Can it be used?
I found these part numbers in a sticky from another section.
F-body Windage Tray: 12558253
Corvette (C5) Windage Tray: 12558189
GTO (Holden) Windage Tray: 12558189 (shared with C5)
C/K Truck Windage Tray: 12558268
