Underdrive Pulley Question

Underdrive Pulley Question
I am thinking about getting an underdrive pulley to install while I am doing my cam swap this winter. ASP seems to be pretty popular. Does anybody know who has the best price on them. Also I noticed they have under and over drive alternator pulleys. Does anyone have any experience with these. I don't have any extra electronics and don't plan on adding anything. Any input would be great

i got mine from thunder, for an auto with an underdrive pulley, sometimes you will get more of a drain on the electrical systems because of the lower rpms than a m6, this means the alt spins slower, charging the battery worse. leads to a dead battery pretty much or with all accessories on you notice dimming lights and what not

Texas speed and performance has a underdrive pulley that I bought it is by powerbond
the same pulley SLP sells but puts there name on it and paints it black. It has the belt retainers on it to keep the belt from slipping off (a common problem for ASP) I did a before and after dyno test on the same day picked up 6.5 HP and 8 HP in the curve.
I also have a M6 and have no charging effects what so ever ...

overdrive is for the alt. the pulley is smaller so it speeds up the alt. an underdrive alt pulley is larger and slows it down even more. every car, manual or auto gets an underdrive crank pulley as a mod, thats what makes more power, less torque seen from accessories
