Check out TSP. The last time that I looked on there, thet had a pretty good special going on the AFR 205's. Also check out AFR themselves. I had to go through them when I ordered my small bore 225's as no one was carrying them yet.

Over the last 2 weeks, I haven't been able to find anyone who has them in stock. I really wanted to AFR 205's, but since I can't buy them, I am going with the ETP 215's.

Guys,

Go to the source before giving up....

With all the time I spend on this board I dont understand why I wouldn't be the first person you would try to contact.

PM or call me....I have access to a couple of sets immediatly (205's) if anyone is interested.

[EDIT] Guys....just to clarify things here...when I said I have "access" to a few sets of 205's, I was simply referring to a few of our other dealers that might still have a set or two on their shelf, and would pass on their contact information. [EDIT]

Thanks,
Tony

More than likely after the Holidays....

Our LS1 foundry had some issues at their facility which held up all their production, and unfortunately we have been out of LS castings for quite some time. We will be seeing some shortly and hundreds more shortly thereafter.

The LS1 product that will ship prior to our Holiday break will most likely be 205 and 225's that customers/shops have been waiting awhile on. We expect to ship a large quantity of backorders etc. sometime in early to mid January when castings will be plentiful and we will be running our CNC machines 24-7 to get caught up. Again, some of the pending older orders will ship prior to the Holidays and all of us at AFR appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused....

My best advice is to contact AFR or the shop you purchased them from and have them do a status check on your order. Do not call us directly unless you purchased the heads directly from us. We only provide info on heads that have been purchased direct (to shops and individuals).

Thanks,
Tony

just-a-z go direct to AFR. I called and asked Tony several questions before the purchase and he answered them in a timely, professional manner. I had them mill .024, to 62cc, figured that while they were there go ahead and have them cut. Excellent customer service through Jason in the sales dept.

They were ALL the ones we owe you Ed....nabbed em right off the UPS truck

Guys....Take note that I edited my post because it didnt read as clearly as I would have liked. Sorry bout the misunderstanding....

Thanks,
Tony

PS....Also, I would also like to clarify that the "foundry issues" I spoke of in one of the other posts on this thread were NOT quality related, they were quantity/supply related. We have now moved our LS tooling to the same guys that produce our BBC heads which have always been top shelf and they assure us they will keep up with the demand etc. Castings will be rolling in any day....thanks again for your patience.
