Default Looking for a nice neighborhood near Denver.

Wifey is buggin be to loosen my grip on Texas Living. So, Im entertaining the idea of a move to CO. I want to be near Denver(work, etc) but still be far enough away to feel like im not living in a city. Perhaps Boulder, or something. Being I have never been to CO, I would like to get an idea of what the prices of some of the houses are in a decent area. So, If anyone has the names of some good parts of town so that I can look them up I would appriciate it.

S

OOO and toss me some pics of some nature, mtns etc.. Something to drool over.

I highly recommend you find out where you are going to work first and then decide where on the edge of the great Denver area you are going to live. I have a coworker that lives north of Denver and works on the south end. His commute can take 1.5 hours each way if he runs into traffic problems.

The commute is not bad at all. For a city, its nothing like LA. I live in Littleton, very nice, and nothing like the city. Depends on what you are looking for. I go to school in the middle of the city, (CU Denver campus) and its less than a 10 minute drive to light rail, and 20-30 minute drive to school.
