Default No top gears

I dont know jack squat about trannies so allpow me to pick the brains of LS1Tech. MY transmission started scratch whenever I shifted fast and it did this for a while with no problems and then I raced this guy and it made one of the most disgusting sounds I've ever heard anything mechanical make. And now it won't go into 1st,3rd, 5th, or reverse. So no top gears. Any ideas on what the hell is going on? Because I don't.

it could be 100 things...but no matter what it is..you need a rebuild...and probably a more expensive one since you drove on it when it was making funny sounds. your synchros could be gone..gears..ect..it could be so many things.

Being all "forward" gears sounds like a linkage issue and can prolly be resolved with a shifter removal. This will only get you back to the clashing into gear . You nwwd to fix it with a teardown. You have already accelerated the damage( and repair cost) by continuing with poor driving habits and judgement( not fixing the "scratching" and racing that way).
