Default Difference? Slave vs Throw out bearing?

Im ordering a z06 clutch and it comes with the pilot bearing and throwout bearing. I planned on updating the hydralics while i was at it. Do i still need to buy a slave? Im under the impression that the slave and throwout bearing are the same exact thing. Please correct me if im wrong or let me know if im right.
Thanks
JEff

The TO bearing is mounted on the slave. They should not be considered the same thing. They come apart.

New slaves come with a TO bearing installed.
