I read that before, I'm really interested in this car. Hopefully Toyota won't screw it up (I'm fairly sure they won't, the cult following for that car is HUGE).

Don't forget the next generation Tiburon goes RWD/V8 for around the same price as the future pony cars.

are there any pics of the supra? or only word of a future model? looks like anything with less than 400hp is going to be a wimp from the factory in the near future of performance cars.

THere is also rumors of a Nissan 450Z with a v-8 in the works.

Well...not neccessarily. Many of the rwd muscle coming from domestics are close to the horridly obese 4000lbs mark. (with the exception of the vettes)
A car with 300ish hp weighing 2800-3000lbs would put it dangerously close to the 400hp 4000lbs cars. Personally Id rather have the lighter car anyway. I've still got my fingers crossed GM does a V8 kappa hardtop car :devil:

Rumors of a MKV supra have been around fro a while, at one time I think there were rumors of it having a v8 reminisent of gt500 class jdm supras which I believe also use v8's.

Damn, it sure didn't take Hyundai long to catch up with the rest of the world. These last few years, Hyundai has really impressed me, and their new stuff is supposed to be as good as anything from Japan.
