Default Will a 27" tire be enough when I spray

I want to get some tires on my M6 stock internal bottle fed TA. Like I said, it's SI car with a 100 shot, 4.11's, and a 6400 rev limiter (which I can bump a little more if needed but I would rather not). I want a tire that won't hurt me too much when I just run motor, but that will get me through the traps without banging the limiter.

I figured a 27" tire would do the best job? What do y'all think?

how fast r u planing on trapping? a 26" tall tire will get you across the traps at about 119.
I'm a firm beliver in running the smallest tire you can hook on.

Not sure on the trap speed, but I'm hoping for 11.9's off the bottle, so thats around 117mph. I'll be going to a 150 shot soon looking for 10's.

Yeah but mines stock internal, I'de lose more power reving it that high than I would putting a taller tire on it.

I went to the track yesterday and trapped 115 NA on 26" street tires, so I'm pretty much at the limit of my current setup.

Hope you have some better Valve Springs/Pushrods if you plan on pulling that thing to 6400+ RPM and your car is stock internals

It will be ok, I shift at 6k and have the limiter at 6400 just to make sure it doesn't bang through the traps.
