yesterday was my 29th b-day and my wife bought me this.. a 98 6 speed LS1
she said she was driving around town.. saw it.. knew i would like it.. bought it, drove it home and surprised me with it when i came home!
now thats an awesome wife..here is a picture.. i love the color

Sweet! Nice color although in one more year it will be time to get a corvette! Don't let that wife go! My girlfriend is a gearhead and we get along so much better because she actually knows what the different car parts are, that I am beg for on a weekly basis. On the down side I can't trick her and say "the car is broken but a SUPERCHARGER will fix it and have her fall for it

yeah i know.. i dont know what the color name of it is.. if some one knows, let me know!! its completely imaculate inside.. and out.. some one took really good care of it..
oh and about the mods.. check this out..
from just what i can see with nake eye.. it has Hooker Ceramic coated shortie headers, 3" exhaust with flowmaster 80 series, SLP air lid, BBK 80mm throttle body, Hotchkis STB, and there is a Hypertech sticker on the PCM.. but my bet is some one re-set the stock programing back and sold the hypertech programmer..
this car is a friggin banshee to drive.. it was setting off the traction control in 2-3rd gear!!
oh and about the mods.. check this out..

Congrtas on the new ride and I see we have something in common. My wife bought me my 97 SS LT1 for my B-day and my 2000 WS6 a few year's later. But I had to trade the LT1 in because she wouldn't let me have both of them. Oh well and happy late B-day bro, don't let that wife get they are a dime a dozen.

Production numbers for your Z is 79U Teal - 2,355 - 4.9%. The number 79U is the color code on your dash also there were only 6-speeds -6,445 - 13.3%. If you have any questions ask us. Oh and here is a pic of my car also a 1998. Oh
and don't worry about spending money yet there are a few free mods also known as the Ram air mod, the throttle body mod(bump stop), and coolant bypass. Also don't forget to reset your PCM after these mods.You can go to
