Default 98 macs on a 01..some questions

The headers already have a egr blockoff on them. The headers have AIR provisions on them. How can I block those off and is it difficult to remove the AIR system from my car? Will mac mids make decent power or would it be a waste of time and money? I know I'll also need to get the codes for the AIR deleted from my pcm. Anyone know how much something like that typically costs at a shop? Thanks for any help.

The MAC's will work fine. You can get block off plates for the EGR & Air tubes. Paying someone to do the swap might be painful!

I would do the install myself. I was more concerned with the price of getting codes deleted from the pcm so I could pass emissions testing. Where can I buy the AIR blockoff plates?

*edited*
as far as block off plates you can make your own with a 1/4 piece of steel or get some off ebay.
i put mac mids on my car, with 3" duals dumped before the axle and my car with those mods and a ported tb the car put 342 to the wheel hot and 348/355 with the engine cool.
