Default Clutch for FI guys?

I figured I'd post this here since only the FI guys are making 900hp. Anyone out there with 900hp using a 6spd? My spec is shot with a wopping 5k miles on it and I want to hear from the guys who have a 6spd and similar power, what clutch are you using? How many miles do you have on it? and any problems? Thanks.

I'll be getting my car back from GMR here in a couple weeks with about that much power. We're going with a Spec 5. Also, MM runs that much power through an M6 and has run a Spec 4 and 5 if I'm not mistaken. That's the affordable end of the spectrum but you can go cartek/exedy/etc and pay anywhere from $1200 to $3000+ for one of those.

my car dynoed 947 rwhp and 885 rwtq on 101 oct.

at first we put in 2 ram vds clutches, which both blew up.

ive got the mcleod twin disk in there now and it is holding fine. I hear it drives very nicely too for the power it holds.

I thought those were only rated at around 700hp??? I and many others would like to see what one of those can really handle.

good luck trying to keep a trans toghether with that much power.
as far as a clutch goes, who needs a clutch auto is the way to go with that much power.
My twin disk fried after 10 passes at the track, but i was slipping it.

I killed every clutch in my car, the spec 5 was the best until the pressure plate took a dump.

I got tired of blowing clutches and went th400. A good clutch costs mega $$ and even then they still suck.

I'm planning on setting my car up for autoX and street only so I'm going to stick with the M6 and get the clutch sorted out if the spec 5 doesn't work out.

im not boosted yet but i been debating between the Spec 5 or Spec 3+ cause they said itll hold the power of the spec 5 (920lbft of torque) but drivers like a Spec 3,the spec 3 i have now is great to deal with.

I believe the spec 5 holds 1200flbs of torque and I think the spec 3 is 750-800. From what I have heard the spec 3 is much more DD friendly than the 5 but I had no choice.

McLeod street twin. Put down 900++ RWTQ through it, and my 115 pound wife could drive my car fine on the street with it. Great clutch for the street, but I hit the point where it was the tranny and the oh-**** factor of the standard that made me go to an auto.

Stage 5 here. 17000 miles and over 600+ RWHP. Pushing over 700 RWHP now, but have not ran it at the track with the 700+..

GO stage 5.. Give her a shot.
