Default Status on PTK install.

Well I ran into a few problems and wont get the car back untill next week some time. I got the wrong coupler with the kit 3"-3.5" instead of 3"-4" they talked to Dalton and the right one will be on the way today, my BOV is not here yet either, it was supposed to be here earlier this week and finally my 2 bar MAP sensor will be here monday. Needless to say I am here. Oh well I am getting closer and closer every day.

The closer you get, the crazier it is... the suspense thickens to a tar... I used to daydream about my car two or three times a day. Now, it's like every hour.

Trust me, I know how you feel.

I bought the first Lightning kit from PTK. Although there were issues and a few missing items as they tried to get it to me asap, they were VERY good at taking care of EVERYTHING for me. My experience was that I really appreciated how they handled the issues.

Multiply your schedule by 4 and still expect frustration. That's the name of the mod game! Sorry it's taking all this time! GL.

ha thats hardly a set back at all. try building the kit your self. not ordering enough of the right couplers, ordering to much of the wrong, not enough clamps, figuring out how to mount your coolant level sensor on your new radiator, needing different and more bolts every week. having to cut and reweld the outlet on the radiator cause it wont clear the MAF and intake tube, welding brackets on your radiator you didnt need. forgeting to order parts. blah.

youll be done and running before you know it, worst comes to worse you can use duct tape for a coupler, i have done that before.

smokinhawk, could you possible write up a little shopping list of all the couplers/bends/fittings you ordered? I am planning on using the stock radiator, and switching to a pusher fan. It would be nice to have a rough idea of how much of everything I need though.
