the aussie clutch rocks, I got a spec and it lasted not as long as I liked. I got the next on what J-ROD (I think) wrote on it plus jeff is a great person to work with. They offer different kits now but I spent about the same on both and abuse the aussie a lot more and it takes it. And my hydralics still need to be bled for better pedal feel. BTW I had a spec 3 with the thier billet flywheel, adj. master, over 700 miles before a any racing, and 6 months I had to buy another clutch.

I broke a chunk in the side of my PP with a spec 3 w/ aluminum flywheel, only 850 miles... I'd definitely pick something else other than spec. Seems to be hit and miss with them. I may be going with a textralia for my next clutch next year.

Spec has a new Stg 3+ with a solid carbon metallic disk, and is supposed to be very user friendly. It also is supposed to handle 780rwtq. I'm thinking about going with it. I've had a Spec Stg 2 for 2 1/2 years no problems other than the balance being fk'd up on the install. Had to take it out and have it balanced.

I have a stage 4 in my car. I like it, but for some reason my taste in the car is changing, and I might step it down if I ever get the tranny out for a rebuild. I didnt want to go with another spec becuase ive had one blow on me, but now that I see theyre SFI approved I might give them another shot, just in the form of a stage 2+ or 3+ hopefully something with less chatter.

Are all the Spec's SFI? I can't make up my mind on a 3+ or a 5. I know a guy with a 5 and he claims it drives great, but the 3+ is what I'm really interested in because of the big torque it can handle and driveability. Only thing is I don't know anybody using the 3+ for their experiences.
