Long tube -vs- Mid length H/P difference??

Default Long tube -vs- Mid length H/P difference??

Does anybody have real world information on the performance difference between a mid length header and a long tube....on the same car?

By real world I'm talking doing rwhp dyno readings and drag strip runs (having the same racing conditions - not 95 deg to 35 deg days). I want to really know what the difference is as it appears to me not to be a big amount on the LS1 cars.

Lots of people have gone from MAC midlengths to longtubes. Heven't seen too many Bassani users.
For the most part, LT's>Midlengths. I hope actual users post to help you with your question.
TTT. For real specs/ results.

On my SS, I saw gains going from one brand of LT's to antoher brand of LT's by the way (SLP to QTP HVMC).

I have, however, seen some pretty impressive dyno numbers with MAC setups.

i'll be making the switch from Mac's to probably QTP LT's in a month or so...i know it's no help now, but i'll make a before/after dyno to add...
