Default Has Anyone Seen This?

I came across a set of LPE cnc'd heads with the rocker stud perch ripped off on the intake side. Has anyone seen this or heard of it, and if you did has anyone been successful in fixing it? I'd hate to pass on these if they are fixable. Any help would be appreciated.

Do you mean the ported intake runners broke through to the threaded rocker holes? if so, thats normal for pretty much all ported heads. Just use some thread sealant on the rocker bolts when you install.

If the rocker boss is gone or broken very bad on the intake side, it is from excessive porting and possibly high spring pressure. I have seen other heads such as GM's splayed valve (baby big block heads for small blocks) do this from to much porting and high pressures. You can reweld the boss, but I think that it better be a real good deal to have to go through the trouble.

No, i'm saying that where the post was, there is a golf ball size hole due to the heads being ported too much and or too high of spring pressure.

Has it ever been "fixed." Would it be durable?
