Camaro owners...Shut up the TA guys I love GM cars, but I am so tired of the Trans Am guys saying their cars are so much better then Camaros. Pretty much the same car. All TA's and camaro's share the LS1 which is better than ANY FORD SVT PRODUCT. PLEASE SHOW TRANS AM GUYS THE CAMAROS HAVE STYLE!!!!

the catfish/cockroach look just isn't for me, and ground effects make it look 10x worse, but an SS isn't all that bad.

This thread may gather some steam. You will never ever shut up a Trans Am man. 
If you take the front ends and spoiler/wings off each car they are pretty much the same car. GM underadvertised and overpriced both of these cars right out of production.

I hate the fact that Z28s look exactly like V6s (except for a badge). The SS is the only good looking camaro IMO. A camaro guy has to try pretty hard to stand out and get the looks from people that a guy with a stock freshly washed ram air TA gets. Truth hurts.

I'm confused. . . I've never thought of the Firebird as a superior looking car. It's the same car. I've always thought Firebirds had girl styling, and Camaros were for guys. Weird.
And I've always thought Firebirds have way too many lines and humps on the body. Like they were trying too hard to be cool. Nothing like the smooth clean lines of the Camaro.
Camaros look mean and intimidating, Firebirds have that "cute" thing going for them. . .

I seem to disagree, while I do not believe that either should be considered a "girl car" the camaro seems more plain jane especially in V6 or Z form. The SS hood and spoiler adds a little more flair but even in stock form the lines and styling or the trans am look wicked, then add the hood and that **** looks downright mean but that is just my opinion. Neither are superior over the other and whoever is giving you **** about it needs to take his head out of his ***. Its just a different body style.

I have to agree that the Firebird is definately more "foo-foo" and girly. How often do you hear a girl say that a Camaro is pretty? 
However, when it comes to looks, I also have to admit that a 4th gen Camaro is definately not very high on the charts. I definately didn't buy this car for the looks. Hell, I had to do A LOT of work appearance wise before I considered my car half way decent ...I'd have to say all that work paid off.

Birds's for girls and camaro's for guys....hahahaha. Anyway! I think anybody that has an fbody and doesn't "autozone" the car to death has something to be proud of. Doesn't matter if its a girl or a guy. Sounds to me like a bunch of crybabies that just prefer camaros over firebirds. I like both the SS and the TA. I'm not real big on a stock z (smooth lines = plain in my book), but I have respect for them since they fall into the fbody realm. Nothing cute about a WS6 either. They didn't make a 30 second clip of any camaros eating the car sitting in front of them as an advertisement. Our local club has girls and guys with some damn nice cars. Nothing makes any of the cars more ladylike though. All "non-rice" fbodies kick ***! So quit crying and just out-race the people that try to talk trash.
