Default LPE CNC LS6 heads/GT2-3 pushrod length

I'm going to be installing these heads very shortly. Just wondering if anybody has run this setup. What length pushrod should I end up running?

Thanks

If the heads aren't milled ----> 7.4".

Nope, not milled. I figured it would be 7.4" but just wanted to make sure.

Thanks

i think with unmilled heads and stock head gaskets its 7.425.Its debatable some run 7.4 and some run 7.425.What you should do is just run a cometic .045 and then use the 7.4's.This will give you a better quench,compression,power,and better preload with the 7.4's.cant go wrong

I am installing the exact same setup this winter. I am hoping for 400 RWHP and some nice torque gains.

Hang on there... Are these the GM Performance Parts ones? Which part # did you get? They have 2 different ones, one with 65cc chambers and one with 62cc. The latter ones are shaved .055" and will need shorter push rods.

Just installed these heads today. Went with .045 Cometics and stock 7.4 pushrods. We decided to check pushrod length. The stock 7.4's seem a touch too long. The pattern was to the exhaust side a little. We shortened up the adjustable rod and 7.350 was pretty much dead center.

Just a heads up for anybody interested

So far so good. I think its actually quieter than before but that may be a perception problem Haven't hammered it yet as I wanted to go through some heat cycles for the springs. Driving around seems to have a touch more throttle response. That's probably due to the bump in compression, ~10.7:1. Other than that, it feels just like it did before the head swap. I'm sure once I start going faster than 3K, I'll feel a difference.

Yep, 65cc. Finally stepped into it. Seems to pull a little better once above 3K I'm going for a touch up on the tune this week. Then wait for the tracks to open to see what it does.

So far, driveability hasn't changed. Still drives great with no noise...stealthy stock sounding on both ends of the car.

Going to get a tune and dyno on Friday. Should have it posted by Saturday.

Hoping for 400/400 but don't think it'll get there but we'll see.
