Default Help me decide please!

I'm in the process of installing a cam package on a 04 ZO6 with LG's and a Halltec CAI intake but I'm torn on what cam to install.
I've contacted all of the big players in the cam industry and recieved thier recommendations.

Let me first preface this by saying that budget isnt a major concern however I can only afford to do it right once, if that makes sense.
I want a platform that I can build on too. I will be installing ET heads later on in the year as well as a 125 shot.

Here is what I have been told:
Stock rockers are not an issue
I will install Comp's 918 springs w/ Ti retainers
I will install aftermarket push rods (stock length)
Stock lifters will work fine.

All of the above was consistant with all of the people I spoke with. MTI, Thunder Racing, Hardcore Racing, & Comp Cams.

So that leaves me with a few choices in camshafts:

MTI's G1 w/ 113 LSA
Thunder Racing's TR 224/227 reverse split w/ .563/.569 lift & 114 LSA
Comp's XR-275 HR: 222/224 duration .566/.568 lift 112 LSA

Any thoughts or recommendations?
Again I'm not in the camp of worshiping the almighty peak HP, thats where most people miss the boat. I want the largest average gain over the entire RPM band. Thanks!!

Looks like you have it figured out to me. If you have never experienced it, recomendations are the next best thing.
You want a good split if you are gonna spray. I plan on spritzin' the 244/248 in the near future.

If I had the time I would buy all three and spend a couple days testing

I will suggest the LG Motorsports G5 cam, 224/230 .581"/.570 on a 112. It has a pretty loppy idle but no driveabilty issues. On a stock LS1 with headers and a tune it makes about 380 hp. In a LS2 it should make closer to 400 hp. With a 3800 converter in a full weight Z28 it would run 7.5s all day. It's a great cam for a daily driver.
