Default FMS F14 + Comp Cams 26918 springs

With stock heads, stock short block, are Comp Cams 26918 springs going to be sufficient for the FMS f14 cam? They are supposed to be good up to .600 lift and the f14 has .598/.598 lift.

i went with the patriot gold springs.... i talked to a tech advisor at futral and he said not to go with the 918s, that you needed to go dual coil that can take more lift.

I'm using a different cam, but my lift is .595/.598 and I am using the 918 springs. No problems here.

I'm going with the F14 or maybe MS3, but will definately be using dual springs. Patroit gold dual spring kit w/ titanium retainters.. Byunspeed gave me a sick price on it.

Okay, thanks guys. That is what I was thinking as well, it was too close for comfort. I got a good deal on the cam, but I think I'm going to wait to install and get a set of heads to go with.
