Default Year One Battery Tiedown

Well, my battery tiedown broke for the second time. I did some searches on here and found that Year One has a strap they sell for around $18. It just came in and it took me almost 3 minutes to install it. It is a powdercoated aluminum strap that is bent to fit over the battery. You have to remove the bolt that holds down one of the reinforcement bars in front of the battery on the top. You bolt it down there and down where the battery hold down block is. You leave the block, just remove the bolt and bolt it down. It holds the battery very tight. It's a perfect fit. Well worth the money and I won't have to worry anymore of flunking tech at the track.

Thanks for the post. I've been looking for something like that. I've failed tech a couple of times because of the battery tie down. I just ordered one as well. I know some people that have made them, but I just don't have to tools to do that.
