'05 C6 coming in today to begin installation of an ATI ProCharger
We picked up an '05 C6 Corvette LS2 with a six speed yesterday just outside of Chicago to begin an ATI ProCharger P-1SC1 installation. We will dyno the car this morning before we start the installation, so that we have before and after numbers. I will be adding this car to my project car section. Bob

Bob,
Your website says P-1 but your first post says D-1? which is it?
On a related note, if it is a P-1 why do I see a lot of Vette guys going with the P-1 rather than a D-1? When a D-1 is usually recommended by vendors and others? you actually suggested a D-1 for my f-body. Is there a larger price difference between the two for vettes?

Speed Engineering installed a Procharged on my friend's dad's SOM C6. Apparently they did it wrong and now AA Corvette is doing the work on it.

I do indeed suggest upgrading to the D-1SC ProCharger when ordering the blower if you have any inkling that you won't be stopping at just adding the blower. With the increased compression ratio of the LS2 engine, you don't want to push too much boost through it, unless you go into the engine to lower the compression ratio. This is the reason you see the use of the P-1SC1 instead of the D-1SC on the LS2 Corvettes. The same basic price difference is found in the C6 kits as there is in the other kits. Bob
