Default Weight reductions for the c5?

What kind of weight reductions can be done to the c5?

My air pump is removed....

Battery relocated to the back (i realize this isnt a reduction but it helps put some weight on the back tires)

Does any company offer light weight parts? Like how the fbodies have light weight k members, carpet, and such? I know the vette is light to begin with but id like to maybe take a hundred pounds or so off the car but keep it fully functioning and visually the same. Like racing seats...not doing that...

Any information is welcome! thanks!

im getting a lot of responses on the corvette forum board.

I DONT WANT TO GUT MY STREET CAR! hahah

I bet an ACC replacement carpet would drop you 20lbs. Aftermarket battery another 10lbs. Look at wheel and tires if you're using the heavy runflats....another 40lbs there. Drop the cats and add a ZO6 Ti exhaust and you're there.
