what is the diffrence between the 5.3 and the 4.8? I bought a set of "5.3" heads but after checking them they turned out to be 4.8 heads. The guy that sold them to me said that they where taken off a 2002 GMC with a 5.3. Could it be possible that they are the exact same heads? I just don't understand why a 5.3 motor would have 4.8 heads....

Same head, all 5.3 heads are 4.8s(cast on them on the bottom). Like the engine block itself, same one for 4.8/5.3
