Knock Sensor: Delete or keep
I'm having a 408 built for simplicity just say street/race sized. How important is keeping the KS in the tune? My tuner will have input; my mechanic likes to have them. I'm sure you discuss here...

Where in Edit may I "desensitized" the KR ?, I have " low frecxxx "on mine for 6-8 months after replacing KR' and wires and meg out all connections and building dam around them ( know problem is not water )

I'd be real certain you have clean connections all the way to the ECU...as well the torque spec was real light...i'll know this is nothing new to most of you.

Macom: you may have offered something I may have overlooked
"...as well the torque spec was real light..." I think I pulled them tight, what are torque spec on them ? " torque spec " are the only thing I can think of I may have overlooked - been into them 3 times

Knock Sensors

My understanding is that over tightening may break the piezo mic sensor inside the knock sensors. Good luck.
