guys wanna ask about the TPS switch can it force the converter to lockup in 1st or even 2nd ,, when the SES turns on the lockup engages and no downshifts unless u pull the gear **** when it became off the problem is gone DTC displays that its a TPS error ,, any ideas would be appreciated

Measure the TPS output voltage across the entire range of motion. Look for 0 mv at closed throttle and no "dropouts" or an open circuit along the way.
